August meetings: Moving to a new model of producing reviews - the role of Cochrane Reviews Groups

Four meetings have been scheduled in August to provide an opportunity for CRG staff to discuss their role and particularly to understand what tasks they can continue to do, and those tasks that will eventually be managed by the Central Editorial Service. There will be dedicated time for questions and discussion.

The way Cochrane produces systematic reviews is changing and a big part of that change is the centralization of the editorial process for all Cochrane Reviews. A significant number of Cochrane Reviews Groups closed following the end of NIHR funding in the UK, however many are continuing to operate as we develop new structures and ways of working. Continuing CRGs will play a vital role over the next few years, as changes are rolled out.
