Aims
The Evidence Synthesis Units are a key pillar of the new model, representing a way to streamline Cochrane’s approach to evidence synthesis and attract new funders to support our work.
Applications to set up a Cochrane Evidence Synthesis Unit pilot CLOSED on Dec 15, 2023>
This project aims to:
Establish a number of Evidence Synthesis Units around the world in high-, middle- and low-income countries, to develop high-quality, high-priority Cochrane evidence syntheses in a timely manner.
‘Professionalise’ evidence synthesis work in Cochrane, enabling us to better anticipate and deliver what stakeholders need.
Strengthen the evidence synthesis capacity of the Cochrane’s network globally and attract funding.
Milestones & timeline
Call for applications to set up Evidence Synthesis Units closed on December 15, 2023
The first set of successful Evidence Synthesis Units to be announced in April 2024
Establish approximately 10 Evidence Synthesis Units by the end of 2025
